Old news, but think of the irony!!

This story is floating around e-mail chains right now and it's the first I heard of it. A bear was walking across the Donner Bridge when 2 cars spooked it and caused it to jump over the side of the bridge. The pictures are unbelievable.

And here's the irony: the bridge is also called "Rainbow Bridge". So we have a bear that is crossing the Rainbow Bridge, falls off, and by some miracle is able to hang on and then was rescued. I guess it wasn't that bears day to "cross the bridge".

Wow - those pictures are amazing! I'm so glad they rescued him - and that he survived to be rescued!

You're right - wasn't his time to cross the Rainbow bridge.
