Last night I woke up with a huge craving for open face Tuna Melts. So that's what I just had for dinner.

I broiled 2 large slices of rye bread under the broiler. Then added a very light layer of Miracle Whip to each slice. To each slice I added some canned tuna, couple slices of tomato, topped it with some sliced mushrooms, a couple of teaspoons of spaghetti sauce and 2 slices of cheese singles. Then I baked them in the oven at 350 degrees until the cheese was melted. Yumm!

Wow, you have a lot going on with that sammich!

I like a good tuna melt myself time to time.
I do it the "diner way" - a grilled cheese with tuna salad jammed inside. "Grill" until gooey and melted together or bread that is now crusty-ish.

NOw I have a craving for tuna

I have leftovers at home though. Sigh...
