Savannah is gone nuts

Ok so the babies are all 4 weeks old and have been living in the family room in a cage for 2 weeks now, and everything is going good the kittens climb in and out of the cage just fine. however yesterday and today savannah has tried to move the kittens, we dont know why nothing has changed, and she isnt carrying them nicely she hurts them. any ideas to stop her and info as to why she is now moving them

I would maybe try moving the kittens and mom to a more private place- Mom probably feels stressed, and to out in the open right now...

I don't know, but if you figure it out, will you post? My mom cat is pulling the same thing. Every time we check on her, she has moved her kittens to a new location, and she has her own whole room for them! I don't know what to do! My other female never had any problems with the kittens and always just kept them where we had them. Even when we would let them out to play, she would cart them back. This very strange and frustrating for me too!
