Well Ginger's likes to show her I guess you could say disgruntled attitude about being put back in the cage by smacking at you with her paws. She has been here for 6 weeks almost and her nails were long the day she came, so you can imagine how long and sharp they are now. I have a number of marks on my hands where she smacked me through the cage while I closed it.
So I employed DH to help cut her nails today--he refused to hold her, so that left me to do the job while he cut the nails. He was such a weany and anxious thinking she was going to bite but she honestly did very well and now has 10 much shorter front nails and something to scratch on in her new bigger enclosure. Which means I will have many less Ginger scratches on my hands!!
Oh and as a side note, the kittens are getting their baby teeth and playing!!
