I told hubby that I am feeding that cat that comes around, because how could I not? He was o.k with that. Also I called the Humane Society today and reported a description and general area, and my phone #, just in case the cat is lost and needs to go home, and someone may be worried sick over it. It is so cute, every night at dusk I go out to put food in a bowl, and the cat is there waiting. It meows and rubs me, and sometimes takes its paw and caresses my cheek,a loving cat. I also put out water. My other cat hates this whole scene, watches from the window, but she will get over it, I suppose it confuses her and another cat is on her turf, but I come in and reassure her. My other cat could care less either way. Linda

Linda that is wonderful! I hope this kitten finds it's owner or gets to move into your house soon. Have you tried putting up fliers with a discription on this little one?

No, I can do that this weekend. I just cannot give it a home, I have 2 and am allowed 1 where I live. Best I can do is feed and pet and talk to this cat. Linda

Well, hope you are sitting down, of couse you are, how many people stand at their computer. Last night was a little chilly and as usual the orange cat was all balled up on our bottom step and I mentioned it to my husband{who originally told me not to feed the cat}, well he said its chilly out, and proceeded to go to the shed and get a box, put a blanket in it, and a large chunk of carpet under the box. And I have been feeding the cat an evening meal only. I woke up today and hubby told me the cat was out begging this morning so since he was feeding our cats he took some food out to that one, too. My husband knows a man that is crazy over cats and is still mourning the loss of their deaths about a year ago. He is going to ask him if he will take it in. I don`t know if that is good or bad because his cats were hit by cars, and this cat is in a mobile home park safe from traffic. The only benefit would be a place to sleep at night, meals and a man that loves him, but I don`t think that out weighs the chance of being hit by a car. Linda

That's a tough decision to make. I still hope the kitten's owners are found. Is there any chance that your husband's acquaintance would be willing to keep her as an indoors-only cat? Keep us updated.

It's so great that you are caring for this kitty! Hopefully that man can make her an indoor cat, that would be best, wouldn't it?

Here is a bit of weird news. My feisty mean cat{Liberty Belle}, is accepting of that cat and hangs out on the porch with it and they also wallow around on the cement, isn`t that contintment? And my sweet easy mannered in door cat{Freedom Belle} goes nuts and swats it with her paws if it tries to come inside, and before I got her she was around other cats and dogs. The feisty one is not bothered if that cat tries to come in.Are female cats more apt to accept a male cat? I am shocked my mean cat is so behaved...and yes, she is fixed, both my cats are. Anyway I am not allowing the cat to come inside. Linda
