Well, I love TCS and really enjoy talking to all you friendly, intelligent people. As some of you know, I have been trying to write a book and find that I'd rather be on here than actually writing. My solution was to give up TCS until I finished the book. However, it isn't working out. I was off for about three days and started having withdrawal. And I'm still not making much progress in the book. One of the officers at the prison where I work is a writer. He has already been published and seems to churn out books at the drop of a hat, even though he does the hunt and peck method of typing. I type 65 words a minute, but must be the slowest writer in world. Maybe if you all could try to be a little less interesting, I could get more work done...

I have to admit I'm addicted to this place, then again you can't expect much else with all the friendly people and good stories

I tried going for at least a week not coming on here...it didn't work and I ended up checking anyway!

Thanks!
That is very thoughtful of you!

I am cutting back on TCS until the manuscript is finished. I loose all track of time when I'm here, just like when I'm in a casino, minus the loss of money.

The only thing I can suggest is... maybe give yourself "TCS" breaks when you're feeling blocked? And SET AN ALARM! If you can't get back to writing, get up from the computer (making sure TCS is not left open!) and go for a quick walk.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
