Yesterday I had a tickle in my throat and a mostly dry cough. Occasionally my cough was loose.

Last night I started to feel a bit stuffy, not bad: Vick's Vaporub shoved up my nose along with the humidity of my CPAP machine helped. Towards morning I started to cough. It was a dry cough, but I felt there was stuff there wanting to move. Once I did get out of bed, I spent about 15 minutes hacking up a lung until I finally cleared my chest.

I went for my massage today. Didn't feel bad. Just coughing. no runny nose or anything. I stopped at the pharmacy and picked u[ an expectorant cough syrup so that I can clear the mucous.

I want to buy a bed with my next pay cheque next week, so I picked up a shift today at work on my day off. Again, I was just coughing. As the evening wore on, I was coughing more and more and it was more congested. Not only that but my throat was feeling raw from coughing and I sounded like Kermit!

Before I left work I took my temperature. It's 37.4 C (99.5 degree F. Normal is 37 C or 98.6 F). Now that is not really a temperature to be concerned about.

However, my usual body temperature is much lower than normal. It usually is 36.3 or 36.4 C (97.34 F). So when my temperature gets to 37.4 C (99.3 F), that is equal to someone having a temperature of 38.1 C (100.6 F).

My long stretch of days off and I'm sick!

I was thinking about picking up a shift tomorrow too so that I could have a full time pay cheque to put towards my soon to be new bed and maybe a new dresser and end table. I don't think I'm going to be doing that!

Funny though. Other than a cough and a temperature that I don't even feel, I feel fine!

I have a better chance of winning the lottery!

Whatever it is though, sucks! As much as I'm upset about being sick on my days off, at least I'm not losing any pay!

Your symptoms sound how my bronchitis started! I hope you feel better-lots of rest and liquids! (but you know that already).
