A State of Confusion
I've think that Tiny is allergic to beef. When I was first trying out canned foods a few weeks ago, she got sick on a can of Authority beef flavor. I quit using the Authority brand because I thought it was the unnamed liver in the can making her sick. Lately, I've fed her the Wellness Chicken formula several times with no adverse reaction. Tonight, I fed the the the Chicken and Beef formula and within 5 minutes, she had thrown up a half dozen times. None of the other 3 cats got sick, so I think it has to be an allergy. Looking at the ingredients of the 2 formulas, I don't see much of a difference other than the fact one has beef in it and one doesn't:

Chicken Formula:

Chicken, Chicken Liver, Turkey, Chicken Broth, Carrots, Natural Chicken Flavor, Sweet Potatoes, Squash, Zucchini, Cranberries, Blueberries, Guar Gum, Dicalcium Phosphate, Carrageenan, Ground Flaxseed, Potassium Chloride, Calcium Carbonate, Taurine, Iron Proteinate (a source of Chelated Iron), Beta-Carotene, Zinc Proteinate (a source of Chelated Zinc), Vitamin E Supplement, Choline Chloride, Cobalt Proteinate (a source of Chelated Cobalt), Thiamine Mononitrate, Copper Proteinate (a source of Chelated Copper), Folic Acid, Manganese Proteinate (a source of Chelated Manganese), Niacin, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Sodium Selenite, Vitamin D-3 Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, Vitamin B-12 Supplement, Potassium Iodide, Biotin.

Beef and Chicken Formula:

Beef, Chicken Liver, Chicken, Chicken Broth, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Squash, Zucchini, Natural Chicken Flavor, Dicalcium Phosphate, Cranberries, Blueberries, Guar Gum, Carrageenan, Ground Flaxseed, Potassium Chloride, Calcium Carbonate, Taurine, Iron Proteinate (a source of Chelated Iron), Beta-Carotene, Zinc Proteinate (a source of Chelated Zinc), Vitamin E Supplement, Choline Chloride, Cobalt Proteinate (a source of Chelated Cobalt), Thiamine Mononitrate, Copper Proteinate (a source of Chelated Copper), Folic Acid, Manganese Proteinate (a source of Chelated Manganese), Niacin, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Sodium Selenite, Vitamin D-3 Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, Vitamin B-12 Supplement, Potassium Iodide, Biotin.
I haven't seen beef mentioned as an allergen, but does anyone see something else that would make her sick like that?

ANY thing with PROTEIN can be allergen ... Beef is not a common one as most cats do not get much beef

No vomiting in mine from it, but if they get food with beef it makes Sho and Tomas incredibly stinky (and Tomas gets gasy - the type that makes you run from the room).
It should be simple enough to avoid beef if that's a likely issue.

I'm just really happy she's not allergic to chicken. A chicken allergy would probably make ~75% of the non-fish canned foods unacceptable. I have a hard enough time finding something all 4 kitties like as it is.
