I got three ball pythons in the mail today!!! They were all born in 08, I got them from a friend on a ball python forum. I got 2 normal females and 1 pos het clown male. Pos het clown= possibly carries the genetics (but only 1/2, he needs a female who also carries clown genetics) needed to make a clown ball python (a color and pattern morph).

This made me giggle

First female

Second female, I'm pretty sure she was trying to tag me in the first picture

Pos het clown male

All three

The rest of my collection, also all '08s

Normal female, in shed=so she's much darker than usual

Normal male, he stopped eating for two months, he's eating again

Pastel male, looks like he's going into shed=darker than usual

All three

They are beautiful! Makes me miss my herps.

The sign is quite amusing too but probably a good idea. Particularly the non-venemous bit since so many people wouldn't know just by looking. What is taped to the lid though? It looks like a "stay fresh" packet that you find in new purses.

I suppose the non-venomous is a good thing to put on there! Although UPS won't ship poisonous snakes.....I'm not sure if it's legal to ship them at all.

Lol, no, it's a heat pack. I forgot snake people would have no clue what that was

Thank you! I love them too! I'm sad I can't stare at them all day....they need to relax in the quite for about a week or more so they don't get stressed.

Duh, that makes sense. I've never shipped snaked so I didn't even give a heart source a second thought. I hope they get acclimated to their hew home smoothly. I know how finicky balls can be.

You've got some very gorgeous snakes! We have a few snakes here, but no Ball Pythons, and I've wanted one for a really long time! We lost some reptiles to the unpredictable winter we had this year, so maybe Mom would let us get some at the annual Repticon. Last year they had Ball Pythons for 10$, and there were so many!

The only thing I hesitate with is the burrowing aspect. I already have a Kenyan Sand Boa who hides most of the time, and I would prefer another snake that kinda stands out. My brother's Gopher snake is visible just by walking past his room. Then again, he's an adult.

Anyway, very beautiful snakes, congratulations!

Yeah I had snakes on a plane
UPS shipped them 1 day air for me. They are being awesome for me! No problems feeding at all! I'm so happy. But I followed all the rules and didn't even look at them for a week. My new male is really snippy! He likes to strike at me anytime I go to pick him up
He's all show though, you pick him up and he's fine.

Yep, reptile shows/expos always have really inexpensive normal ball pythons. Most under $20. You don't want a ball python if you ever want to see it. I would say they spend about 98% of their time in the hide and if they are out roaming they are stressed.
