Pregnant Queen Lactating

Is it normal for a mother cat to get her milk in before birth?
And how early before birth as far as I know she has had one litter before this one. According to her other owner.
I got her pregant did not breed her she will be spayed 3 months after the kittens are born so that wont be a issue either.

But she has been getting her milk in for bout a week now and no signs of labor the vet said she is fine but could not give me a round about date one point he said last week then now he is like I just dont know.

She is the only pet in that room her belly is hard. But I see them moving in there. Her eating in the past 48 hours has cut down quite a bit.
I am getting worried my vet keep saying let nature take its course.

But her milk is in I could probally put a kitten on her now if I needed to and they be able to eat.

Is there a time frame of milk coming in and giving birth or does it vary by cat?

Thank You for your time

Yes, most of my queens would get milk in and I could get a drop of two out of the nipples about 2 days before they were born.

Yes, that should mean that they're close. Also the decrease in eating is a sign...
Good luck!!
