Tilly has this weird and annoying habit....

she comes up and eats the blanket...like she pulls up the fibers and eats them?

What is up with that?? I feed her a few times a day and she always has a bowl of dry food.

Also she chews my hair.

I've had cats that tried to eat fuzzies off blankets. I'm not sure why they do this. Maybe it's just texture related.

You can keep discouraging the cat by telling her no and pushing her face away from the blanket, and/or you can put a light comforter over the fuzzier blanket. The fuzzy short fibers really aren't that much of a danger on their own, but while picking at the blanket the main worry is that she'll pull a thread loose and manage to eat a long enough piece to harm her.

Always keep those trimmed just in case.

I don't know if the blanket is made of wool, but there actually is a "wool eating" gene in some cats!!!!!!!!!!!! Our little Mujah (Ming Loy) will eat ANYTHING plastic - including tape - if she can get at it. Hard plastic, plastic bag plastic - HEADSETS - anything. Have no idea what it is, just know we need to keep all of it put away/out of access. That's not really an option with blankets or sweaters and stuff, so I'd agree - just make sure loose ends are trimmed so she can't get a piece long enough to harm her. (Mujah, however, will bury her face in the sheepskins, and suckle and kind of chew, but not actually eat, like she does plastic. Go figure.)
