Where's Tinker? she's in there somewhere.

Weird.

Tinker got re-spayed (nice term eh?) last week. She's finally about 99% feeling better which I'm thrilled about.

She's REALLY changed her personality. Does spaying do that? she's MUCH more vocal now, demands petting a lot more, and is overall a much more assertive cat.

Is that normal?

Absolutely! Enjoy, it's like having a brand new cat!

man, I love how she's changed. it's so much more enjoyable to be around her. She use to be standoffish, but now, she meows because she wants attention, although it's so soft I can't usually hear it, and she is constantly jumping up to get pets which she never did before. I sure hope this lasts!!

Yup spaying can do this. My spay became a lot friendlier after she was spayed (She's 6 and was spayed at the age of 3.5).

just an update, man it's gotten more intense. She's glued to me. She also started getting jealous of wilbur which is brand new. neither of these cats ever got jealous. But wilbur was doing his routine where he meows loud and rubs all over me while i pet him in bed (he wakes me up for this). tinker saw it and came over and planted her butt right in my face and curled up so wilbur couldn't get too my head. lol

and for some reason she's REALLY started burrowing. She did this when she was closing to giving birth too. i wonder if her body thinks she's about to have babies? this is exactly how she acted back then
