ok, excuse my typing - trying not to wake kitteh who's lying on the keyboard.

my kitten who is 8 this week, has started trembling whenever she miaos... started yesterday. is it something i should be worried about?

only her mouth trembles, her body is fine. it's like a mIIAAAOoo with tremor (her voice shakes too). i just got her checked out at a vet and she's just had her first shot - could that be related?

also, she seems to be missing her right sided whiskers.

i was planning on showing her - i hope her whiskers grow back.

Almost sounds like it's related to shots, but there are folks around here that could answer this far better than me.

Oh my....This would definitely freak me out as well! If you were planning on showing her, I assume you have many years of kitten/cat behavior. I am concerned by what you described, please keep us updated

I would call the vets, just to ask them if she needs to go back for a check up.

Don't worry about the whiskers, if you have other cats they are probably chewing them off.
Demetri would always chew Ana's whiskers right before a show

Anyone can show a cat, with or without experience in cat behaviour.

Anyone who owns a cat is welcome to try showing if they want to.
