Hi Everyone, I've sort of been looking at switching my cats food and was wondering if any of you have had experience with 'Blue Spa Select' and what you thought.
Thanks,

Blue Spa is made by Blue Buffalo (don't know why they needed to change names). But anyway, we feed it as one of the brands. Its good stuff - quality food.

I've heard a lot of people on this site have success with this food. I tried it on my gang and it dried out the fur on my long haired cats. I actually returned the bag to the store (its guaranteed) because this happened within 2 days.

I was assuming it was the canned food - not the dry. Poster didn't mention which one. I use the Blue Spa canned food.

Sorry about that. It's actually the dry version I'm looking at. I have one cat who will not eat wet food. No idea why and I've tried everything I can find, he just won't touch it if it comes from a can.

Thank you for the feedback, though. I appreciate any I can get.

I am back to feeding Blue Spa Select Turkey and Brown Rice for Sensitive Skin. I tried Premium Edge Chicken and Rice, Eli and Anna did ok on it. Then I tried to switch them to Taste of the Wild, but both cats quit eating it after two weeks. Now I'm back to the Blue Spa. They do well on it.

Before I adopted Siddha, I was feeding Bodhi Blue Spa Select Mature formula. I don't think he was crazy about it, but he ate it okay and seemed to do fine with it (glossy coat, good energy, etc.). I say try it, and if they don't like it, you can always take it back to the store for a refund (stores have different policies on time-limits, etc.)

Good luck!
