Poor little tinker

I took her in to get her REAL spay today. The vet said he didn't want to give her pain meds so she'd stay still. I think I'm going to have to disagree with that and call them tomorrow.

Awww! Poor Tinker! At least now she won't have to go through such an ordeal again as she did before with the kittens. I felt so bad for both you and her!!

Aww...poor Tinker. At least this time you know it's done for real. Plenty of for a nice quick recovery for her.

Poor thing looks so tiny in that pic...why is it that cats always seem t be smaller when they're not feeling well?

whew. she's had a rough night. I put her back in her carrier because wilbur wouldn't leave her alone. he's such a worrier. he kept licking at her head, and one time I didn't notice but he licked her wound.... yikes!

she's better now, just shivering. i think she's cold because shes got no belly fur! I put a towel over her to warm up last night and she stayed there for hours, so it must have helped.

She's been using the litter box, but not eating much. I can tell she's feeling better today though. she jumped in my lap and didn't cry at all.

But she's got this weird quivering thing going. I took some video. I thought it was shivering too but I don't know. I'll upload the video later tonight for everyone's professional opinion

I would say its from the surgery and the anesthesia. if it continues then I would call the vet.

Rosie shivered after her spay even though the house was very warm. I was worried and rang the emergency surgery who said it was the anaesthetic and to cover her to keep her warm, so you've done the right thing there.

I'm not comfortable at all with the vet not giving her a pain killer though Poor baby Lots of painfree coming her way.
