I am trying to figure out what breeds my kittens' (10 months old) faces remind me of but I can't think of it. So I was wondering do their faces remind you of any breeds? (the face shapes.) These boys are brothers and everyone else has trouble telling them apart, but I think they have very different facial shapes and I can tell them apart that way. I was trying to figure out what breeds their faces remind me of so I can help explain to people how to tell which is which kitten...
If people can't figure it out I usually just tell them to look at their front legs. Blaze has one longer "sock".

Here is Mister Grey:

Maybe American Shorthair? I always say his face looks a little bit "snub-nosed" maybe?

Below is Blaze:

Here is a photo of both...can you tell them apart? I think they have very different faces.

Neither looks like any breed to me. Does it matter that people can't tell them apart?

At first glance they do look like twins. But the head of one is a bit longer and the muzzle more pronounced. You'd have to study them for a few mins.

No one breed pops out. Are you (or did you) show them yet?

The only ones I showed so far were the other two siblings I kept, Harlequin and Spot. I am planning to do more showing this summer IF I can find some shows in my area, for some reason there aren't many shows around here in the summer.

The other difference is that Mister Grey's eyes are rounder and they look larger in his face. That's actually how he got his name, he was the smallest runt in the litter and he had huge eyes like an alien (a "Grey" is what they call the type of alien with big eyes and the name "Mister Grey" came from a Stephen King book with aliens.)
