I am choosing a food for my kitten ... I have read good things about the Nutro Natural Choice Complete Care Kitten Food. In particular, many people have commented that it resulted in less "poo" with less smell. It is, however, rather pricey.

I was wondering if anyone has experience with the Nutro Max Kitten Food --- is there the same advantage as far as the "poo" volume and smell goes? This food costs quite a bit less, but the ingredients look good.

My other choice is Authority Kitten Food at Petsmart. Anyone have experience with that food?

Thanks in advance for your comments and help.

I can't compare it to the Natural Choice line, but Lola ate Nutro Max kitten when she was a kitten. She liked it a lot. I thought poo output was normal.
She had a nice shiny coat on it.

On the "poop smell": I've always thought no matter what you feed, it's still cat poop and smells like such.
But if you're asking if kitty clears the room when using the box? Then no.

Natural choice has less grain and no wheat ... which helps with the amount and smell issues more so than max ...

Beet pulp ( which has the sugar removed ) is a prebiotic that aids in colony growth of beneficial bacteria . these colonies in turn help reduce the bacteria smell of the poop

probiotics can help also

Having used both , natural choice does have slightly better odur control but if you have no allergies I would use max

Thank you for the input. I think I will try using Max.
