so far so good. The vet was pretty impressed by me knowledge of kitties
He actually said wow, you are the only person that has ever walked in and said I found a cat and have been keeping it away from the other cats.
We get the felv and fiv results on thrusday. She is really a she. He gave us some front line for the ticks. Said she appears to be six monthes old, and in really good shape. He thinks someone either dumped her or she ran away because she was very very well behaved. Her lynods (sp??) are alittle puffy but doesn't seem to be anything to worry about. Her stools sample was clean and no ear mites! Other then her tick problem she is good! Hubby almost fainted when we got the bills 143.76
They blood work was very expensive and so was the frontline! But isadora is worth it

Hey, you can tell your husband "At least there was nothing serious--those bills go into the thousands!" Then watch him fall to the floor! LOL

*evil grin* (no devil smiley)

We had a 1000+ vet bill before. We were rescueing a three year old very very very very skinny doggie and she started having sezures two days before we were bringing her home. They think she was either poisned or had an infection...Not really sure why with all the test they did they couldn't find out. But she had to be put to sleep
hubby was really really attached to her. So he knows vet bills can get really really high. but those 140 doller ones for normal check ups always shock him! and me

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Sorry it was so expensive, Val. Gary and I know exactly what you're talking about. Anyone who rescues does - it adds up!!! But it's worth it, isn't it?

Glad she's healthy and that you're taking such good care of her!!! Give her some schnuzzles from us, please?
