Yes, it was about 45 mins later I went to move him and he was cold.
He had moved and shifted positions a couple of times before that though
In that pic, he buried his head in my lap like he always had before
He was a snuggler and would always lay on me.

I think it has to be because I can identify so much in raising a kitten and watching it sleep and thinking is he going to wake up..it's the worst thing to go from the joy of having a new kitten to the other extreme of mourning for his loss
I am so very sorry that you had to go through with it
I only had him 2 days but he touched my heart. He was such a sweetheart. He would follow me around the bedroom and almost always had to be touching me.
