Oh Sarah! Oh no!
You might want to take one of the dead kittens to the vet to see what they think might be going on. I'm so, so sorry!

So we ended up losing 3 kittens in a 24 hour period, but the remaining 3 are thriving! I'm up in Canada, so a friend has been caring for them, and is doing an amazing job. She said Gigi (mum) is being wonderful with the kittens, and letting my friend pat her while she's nursing (she still hisses at other times, but is learning to enjoy the attention).

They've quadrupled their birth weight, and are now up to close to 8oz

Here's some updated pics

How cute huh???

I am so sorry for your loss of the 3 babies. Rest in peace sweet little ones. I am glad the rest of the kittens are doing well. That is awesome that your friend can help out with the babies. Good luck with the rest of the babies. The kittens are adorable.

How totally adorable!!

They are about as old as my Muddy/Koko litter was when they were orphaned. They are so lucky to have a mom cat taking care of them!!

And just noticed - they were born on my birthday!

Young Gigi is doing a wonderful job caring for her kittens....

Some new pics! They're all back at our place and all settled in again. Gigi is panting a bit - I'm guessing from the stress of being moved back to our place, so fingers crossed she settles down again soon!

Here's Gigi - I love her crossed eyes!

And little baby (we think this one is a boy and the other 2 girls) - he was sleeping and his little tongue was flickering in and out, his whiskers twitching and his paws twitching - soooo cute!

The calico

And the light tabby one again, with the dark tabby on the left

Oh and they've all passed the 8oz mark now! Yay! Oh oh and I almost forgot.... (
) they're eyes are opening!! 2 of them opened their eyes in the last day, so just one more kitten to go
