Where I live most people donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t believe in animal rescue, almost everyone I have seen with a dog usually has a pure bred from a breeder (not always a good breeder either). Just to add to this I have no problem with purebred dogs, in my mind, all dogs need loving parents. Its just it seems people frown upon my boy Bruno. It always seems I meet an animal lover, they ask Brunoâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s breed, I say his crosses and that heâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s a mutt and they always pause, and say “oh, I have a purebredâ€. Theyâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]re not rude, I just always sense a snootiness to their voice.

In any case, as snooty as they are to their purebreds, I am equally as snooty about my rescue dog lol. I came across this today

I think that would be great! Bruno goes to Daycare with all of these beautiful purebreds, he is only one of two rescues there and I want him to proudly bear this. But… daycare does not allow for snap collars because if there is a fight, or emergency the chance of it opening is big.

Bruno is better behaved then any other dog I have EVER come across where I live. I want them all to know where I got him since in my area people donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t like the SPCA because they think the animals there have serious issues. Bruno will prove them differently.

So does anyone know where I can get a collar like this with a buckle? Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ve looked around but most custom made collars are pretty and designerâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ish. I cant find one that displays they are a rescue.

Thanks all in advanced for your help!

Can you have that collar on him and send another buckle collar with a leash to the day care? My dog has his normal collar and a "walking collar."

I actually found somewhere that sells the “Rescue Rules†collars with the buckles yesterday! Thanks for the reply. We were considering doing that since at daycare his collar gets all muddy and drooly, but lucky for us, we found one! We ordered two, they were discontinued and only had two left… lucky Bruno.

In my excitement over his new collar I got talking to other rescue people I met while volunteering. We decided since our area isnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t much into getting rescues we were all going to buy rescue collars and try to make it a fashion thing LOL things like this sometimes catch on. Itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s a good way to promote awareness every single day, since most people are likely to ask what the collar says.

Thanks so much for your reply, its appreciated.
