Wall-to-wall here. Living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms and an office, both bathrooms. The sunroom used to have it, but we took it out and tiled it. The kitchen and laundry room have vinyl flooring.

Carpet can be VERY durable, if you take care of it. Ours is 12 years old and starting to show its age. I need to buy a carpet cleaner and start cleaning it very carefully.

We live in an apartment with all carpet, except for the kitchen and bathroom. I prefer it to hardwood floors. I would rather walk on carpet rather then wood floors.

I've got carpet in all the bedrooms, the hallway, the stairs, and the family room. We have a wood floor in the living room and linoleum in the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room. I like the wood floors, but with a wobbly kitty around the house, carpet is much easier for him to get his footing on.

Carpet in the living room and hallway. Both bedrooms and the entry way have oak hardwood floors. Kitchen and bath are vinyl, but eventually I'd like to get tile. The basement is vinyl in the finished portion, plain cement in the unfinished rooms.

All the rooms in my home have carpeting except the kitchen, bathroom and foyer/hallway.
I had wood flooring in my family room and after some years there were scratches everywhere so I replaced it with berber. I have a/c and like carpeting as long is there is none in the bathroom.

Every room, minus the bathrooms, foyer, and the kitchen/dinette have carpet. I'd prefer wood, but we couldn't afford it when we built the house. Someday maybe.

Hmmm....My daughter's room and the kitchen/laundry room and the 2 bathrooms are all tiled. The rest of the house is carpeted. I want to get rid of the carpet in the main living area, and replace it with the tiled-wood. And farther on down the, the rest of the house

Same here. Bathroom and kitchen/hallway are vinyl tile.

I've got a 2 bedroom apartment (a little over 1250 sq ft total) All of the rooms (living room, dining room, bedrooms, hallways) have carpet. The only rooms that don't are the bathrooms and kitchen- they have really cute linoleum that looks like stained tile (kinda cool looking!)
The entryway to my apartment is real tile though as is the area around my fireplace.

I have carpeting in the foyer, living room, dining room, and 3 bedrooms of our house. The two bathrooms, kitchen, utility room/laundry room, and just inside the front door are tiled.
