I did read that, but a variety of Britain's richest have been saying that. I've noticed that those who complain now didn't complain about rising taxes for poorer people. And when they do complain its always under the guise of concern that Britain may lose its best and brightest, when in fact they just don't like paying the extra taxes. Which is fair enough, but I'd prefer it if they just admitted that, and didn't try to make it about the country, as opposed to their pockets.
While the ministers themselves may not have any economics qualifications, surely their advisors/lackeys will.
