We'll most likely keep the cage in our bedroom while our friend is here at this stage. It'll be a pain in the butt, but we can move it to the bathroom at night without stressing her out too much I think.

Well we never had anyone go THAT far!
What's wrong with these people? I don't know what your e-mail said, but it sure sounds like they didn't even read it.

Sarah, whatever happens, I know you'll make it work.

someone with some compassion comes through!

The email basically said I do TNR, trapped her the night before, she'll probably have the kittens this weekend, before I could even get her in to be spayed even if I wanted to (not many vets do spaying over the weekend), and I need someone to watch her for 5 days.

Given that hubby isn't fighting the idea of keeping her in our bedroom, I'll just do that. I'd rather move her as little as possible anyway. Hopefully she's not too smelly... or noisy...

Oh, Sarah!!! Vibes for everything to turn out right.

I have had my share of rude, bad experiences with rescue - yes, they are jaded, etc.,(as in people pull all kinds of crap and are mean, cruel and stupid) but it is also my experience that many of them just totally lack human interaction skills.

I am shocked at those people's rude attitude toward you Sarah.

As others have said...
you are an angel for not giving up on Moma and her kittens.

She looks as though she's been licking at her back end - it's got damp lick marks all around there. I think we're getting close!

Sarah, you are such an angel
The kittens are beautiful
The calico is spectacular!! You certainly have endured alot in trying to get help for that poor kitty, but remember that you did the right thing

I'm sending prayers & vibes that all turns out well for the new family & that you are triple-blessed for all your good works
