I have decided to still show her even though she has a bar on her right side. I need the experience and I know that she may not win, but I just want to have some fun until I have a show quality bengal. She is a very good girl and full of personality.

Enjoy!

OMG, I'm in love again!!!

I love the one with her back feetsies tucked under her - she's gorgeous (and I am a bit jealous of that cat tree!)

You're going to enjoy her SO much.

She is very pretty and I love how she looks.
I have only showed once and it was fun.
You should have fun at the shows.
I plan on getting a good show quality cat later on after I lean to show.
When do you plan on showing her?

There is a show in June and July so I will go to both of those and show her as a kitten. I'm hoping the judges won't be too cruel or nasty because of her bar.

My aunt is going to help me prepare the best that she can, but I will still be nervous and unsure what to do.

I was afraid of getting nasty remarks also but all the judges said good things.
You will learn as you go.
I felt the same way you do.
The people that helped me have been showing for a long time.
Will your Aunt be there?
Btw I have the picture of your cats you sent for christmas on my desk.

I've never heard a judge be nasty, they will point out the faults along with the good points. Then some judges only say the good things out loud, I prefer to hear both though.

They won't say anything about the bars. She's a pretty girl.
The judges will be looking at structure first. Particularly, head and ear set.

I know!
I have been trying to get some decent pictures taken! I am still having problems taking pictures of her when she is in motion. I can't get the whole picture to stay clear.

Any one have any suggestions? I have an SLR, have it set on the sports dial, but still have problems.

Use Shutter Priority. set the shutter speed to at least 1/250. If indoors make sure you use the flash so the lens gets enough light.
That should do the trick.

Do you also use the sports dial, Nial? Can you manipulate shutter speed on that dial? I still have so much to learn about taking pictures, especially in motion. How do you take yours?

She is very alert and such a love bug! My aunt said she was the best kitten out of all the litters she has had. She loves people, toys, and is very compliant. She is a bundle of energy!
