Is there a kind of cat/kitten food that can reduce the amount of times my cats use the litter box, because the stuff that I am giving them seems to go right through them, I know that there is something like this for dogs, but what about cats? Maybe something to keep them fuller, longer? Hopefully something that is not terribly expensive.

I am currently feeding them Special Kitty, which I know is definitely not a very good brand, but I am on a budget. Which is why I was looking for something not terribly expensive. I'm actually in NW Spokane, just off of Belt. I usually shop at Walmart, seeing as it is the closest and I don't have a car to go much further than that.

A better food can help with digestion, hence causing less litterbox load
. Hmmm....if you're stuck with Wal-Mart foods, see if they have Maxximum. That's the best one they sell, but some Wal-Marts don't have it. Purina ONE or Purina Naturals would be OK.
