We all have them, bizarre food combinations we secretly love and crave. What's yours?????

For me let's just say it's 7am here and I just finished having some raw broccli & low fat ranch dressing. Not for the healthy factor- I seriously CRAVE the combination!!! It's insane lol! I think I go through more broccli in a week than most people do in 6 months! No clue why I love the stuff so much, but I'm addicted to raw broccli!!! Now normally I wouldn't be eating it at breakfast time, but my sleeping patterns seem to be off quite a bit lately, so I guess my "midnight" snack turned into breakfast haha!

I'm also a big fan of nacho cheese doritos and fat free french onion dip (I like the fat free dips for the texture). The combination is quite tasty! I try not to buy those things on purpose though since it's just me now because well.....an entire bag of chips in my pantry = not a good idea!
I also like yellow mustard with cresent rolls
(don't laugh until you try it!)

What odd food combinations do you crave????

It's been awhile since I craved this but it's the oddest thing I can think of.
Garlic pickles dipped in yogurt. This was pre-pregnancy

Spaghetti with ranch. Dont ask why but it is yummy! I am a big fan of broccoli and ranch too! Although I hate almost any cooked veggie!
Hmmm I also crave cheesy hotdogs but I think those are pretty normal!

That's funny you mention that, I HATE cooked broccli too haha! I only like it raw with low fat ranch dressing or in broccli cheese soup

Thought of another good combo - Mac & Cheese with hot dog cut up in it
(My sister did that once for dinner when she was out of groceries before her trip to the store, i think I loved it as much as her kids did

I can totally dig the yellow mustard and cresent rolls!

First, let me say that I have had no "odd" pregnancy cravings. What I mean is that anything I've creaved while pregnant are things that I also craved pre-pregnancy.

Now, one of my favorites is french fries and chocolate icecream/frosty/shake! Peanut butter and honey on toast or an english muffin. And DH's favorite... I recently made some Thai Sesame Peanut sauce which I normally eat cold over noodles but we had home made lo mein so I put it on that. It was very tasty! I'm sure there are others but I can't think of them at the moment.

Oh ya, cold cheese sandwiches with Miracle Whip!

Um...I do a lot of the salty-sweet thing....Combos just depend on what's around. If I think of a specific example, I'll share it.

French fries dipped in a chocolate shake (best is when you do it at In-N-Out!)

Also, sausages with maple syrup!

Mix in a little Tapatio sauce with your mayo for a umph! on your sandwich!

I am a salsa fanatic, I eat it with all types of meat, and like it with vegetables as well. However as bizarre as it sounds, salsa and apples is one of most favorite combo's.

My brother likes ranch with pretty much anything.. he'll even put it over white rice!!!
While you said "don't laugh until you try it", I did try that one and I did NOT laugh.

Let's see.. I don't mix food together, but I do pair them with drinks. Does that count?
Cheez-It's & OJ..
Jerky & Mountain Dew..
McDonalds french fries (the overcooked ones!) & iced Coke..

Now I'm hungry.

I think Wendy's is where I first tried dipping the fries.

But, I like the syrup on the pancakes too. Heck, put some syrup on the pancake, plop the sausage on it and roll it up!!

Sausage links with maple syrup, I also do not eat syrup on my pancakes or waffles, just butter.
Sausage patty on a buttermilk biscuit with grape jelly
Kosher dill pickle and chunky peanut butter sandwiches

I like sausage links with maple syrup too. Also scrambled eggs with maple syrup. Or hash brown with maple syrup. They're all good.

Baked beans and potato chip sandwich!

If you ask my DH, he would say that it's weird that I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I wonder if that's something he had to eat as a child and sees it as some form of punishment.
If i make one for lunch, he's there showing me all the other things I can take for lunch. I LIKE PB&J....leave me alone!
My best comfort meal is PB&J and Campbell's Chicken Noodle soup
