Well, we had to make the decision to get our male Devon Rex, Bob, fixed. He is there right now. I won't be having any more Devon babies around which is sad for me. He just didn't want to breed with Bonnie when she was in heat, he'd rather sleep with my neutered siamese boy LOL. We needed to get him fixed so that when Monty hits his 6month birthday, Bob won't feel like he needs to mark/spray. Bob has never sprayed and I want to keep it that way. I also don't want Monty to feel like he needs to mark either.

It's going to be different not seeing the "jewels" anymore as he was very well endowed LOL. I am ok with him being fixed though as I am going to be breeding my Sphynx in winter.

Well, Bob wasn't able to have his surgery today because he had a severe reaction to the gas they use to put them to sleep. Soooo, now I have to wait a bit and the vet said that they will use the medication they use for geriatric cats to put thme out for surgery. Bob has been given a second chance LOL. But it does have to happen eventually.

She had them in December, all have found homes. I figured if he didn't get her pregnant by the end of this month, then he missed his window. It's been 5 months since she gave birth, so I figured she would be fine with a pregnancy to start around now. He's not as interested in procreation as a male should be LOL.

The vet said they will try this other medication, so we'll see. I am going to do some research first.

Well, Bonnie is part Sphynx as well, so we're going to breed her to our Monty who is Sphynx
I am hoping that she will allow him as a partner LOL. He is only 3 1/2 months old, so we have lots of time to wait for him to grow.
