Good Morning! Here's today's Question Of The Day!

Do you dream when you sleep? Do you remember your dreams?

I rarely dream when I sleep, or rather, I rarely remember my dreams. Once in a great while, I'll remember fragments of a dream when I wake, but I quickly forget even that. Last night I had vivid dreams about tornadoes, but I'm already starting to forget the particulars of them.

All of the time! Most of my dreams during this past year have been really annoying though. I'll dream of doing every day things - for example, cleaning the cat boxes - but instead of remembering them as dreams, I mistake them for actual memories. Imagine my surprise when I see the kitty boxes dirty & full of "ornaments"!
"What?! I just cleaned those?!"
So I'm guessing they are dreams.. how else would I have a crystal clear memory of something I never even did?!
I also often end up slipping into sleep paralysis & lucid dreaming at the same time. Creepy.. interesting.. kind of fun!

I do dream mosst nights, but I don't always remember them. It really all depends on whether I wake up during them or not. If I wake up during them I usually remember them quite well. However sometimes I just have vague recollections of bits and pieces the next day.

I can have quite vivid dreams like the one early this morning which I can remember much of it. It seems parts of my dreams contain stuff from that days events, articles in the news or bits of stuff from tv shows!

I am often aware when I wake in the morning that I have dreamt a lot, but seldom remember more than the odd fragment. This is particularly the case when I'm really tired and/or stressed.

I dream on occasion but don't always remember the details.

When it's particularly stressful at work I will find myself either sewing, hooping or folding shirts during the night. I hate when I do that.

Yes, I just woke up from a dream about 25 minutes ago in fact. It started out set in the park of the town I grew up in, but there was more stuff planted around the pool area. Then somehow there was a a garden behind it with a lot of tropical type plants - netted in to keep birds and animals out. DH and I walked through it some, then got separated at one of the buildings and he went home without me...

This is what I get for reading about and considering ordering plants/seeds for the more uncommon types of african violets before bed.

I can actually be having a dream and wake up for some reason and then quickly go back to sleep and continue with the dream!

When I wake up, I normally remember the weird parts of the dream for a while and by the evening it's all forgotten about.

I can usually remember several dreams every morning when I wake up. Some dreams are in color, some have music, there are also smells and once in awhile even taste in my dreams.

When I watch a movie I almost always have dreams about it that night, and it can be a lot of fun if I really liked the movie, because I become the main character. It's tiring when it's an action/adventure movie! I have a very active dream life, lol!

I dream every night, and they are incredibly vivid. Speaking of, this morning my sister woke me up from the weirdest dream, and I couldn't stop thinking about it throughout the morning. That's how vivid they are; I can recall every detail.

Yes, I dream when I sleep. Yes, I remember my dreams most of the time. Most of the time they're nightmares, (PTSD left-overs/symptoms)...but this month they've all been very mild, non-scary dreams! yay!

I tend to have a lot of action movie like dreams. In one I found a journal that apparently had some important secrets in it - a bunch of military types surrounded the house and were dropping down into the backyard from a helicopter... Meanwhile I was hiding in the house's crawlspace. Another one I was running from drug smugglers...in the snow. And one had a weird sci-fi theme with a large white Giger like alien.

I also had an odd one a few years ago, I had learned that the town I was in was about to be bombed (with a nuke no less..) and was trying to get people to listen to me and leave.

I had some dream, I can't really remember the details to it, but Momoe Yamaguchi's - Playback part 2 was playing during it...

Lucid dreaming isn't when you can return to a dream, by the way, it's when you actually know you're dreaming and can control the dream. I have those occasionally.

Yes, I dream. I usually remember it best when it wasn't a good night's rest and I have weird or bad dreams. Last night's was a bad one. I dreamt my grandmother fell again and hurt herself. She broke her hip last October.

And I also dream different fragments of dreams where it just turns into another event or person I'm dreaming about, but it's seamlessly done so it seems like one long dream.
