hehe, couldn't help but take a few pics

Mom's still shy and hiding, but babies are good and active

They are around 3 weeks, and there is five, all about the same colour...
Enjoy!

And, after all the playing, you get tired out...

AWwww a handful of cream kitten drops!

Friend of mine had 3 cream tabby kittens she was showing (all males too). She had to put a red dot in one ear, a green dot in another kitten's ear and none in the third kitten's ear. Was the only way to tell for a few months which kitten was which so they would be put in the right cages in the rings.

The judges were going nutz for a few months trying to judge those kittens!

How are you ever going to tell them apart? Gorgeous kittens. What color is mom?

Mom's a red, kind of like your Goldy...

Yes, I've got 2 females and 3 males- as for telling them apart- I've got no idea!

Oooohhh

You're lucky I don't live in the states, otherwise I'd come visit and adopt one

If you can't tell them apart cutting out tuffts of fur would be the easiest way of keeping them appart.

With a bit of luck the shelter should be able to re-home them in pairs of two and the mommy with one of the kittens
I bet she's just as pretty as the babies

What does your friends litter look like?

christine

hehe, thanks for all the replies guys

The coloured nailpolish sounds like a good idea, but will it hurt Mommy or babies if they lick themselves?

My friend has a torti mom with a red female, a pale ginger female, a black male, and a torti female- sounds like they got the tame mommy

Any name idea's? We were thinking Summer for one of the females, but I'm not sure...

More pics coming soon!!

Aww, thanks for the name ideas!
Momma seems to have calmed down a bit now- she takes her job as a mother very seriously, always cleaning and lying with her babies. She has even purred a bit when we petted her

So do you guys know if regular nailpolish is okay on their nails to tell them apart?

I think it would be ok, if you have the fast drying kind. You know how they move too--quick and they never stop! I think you should buy some colored sharpie markers and mark them that way. It would be much quicker to do and no drying necessary
