And I take it that means you've not looked at the photographs. It's in a "slide show" format, it's not hard at all to make it work. All you have to do is click on it.

It's all too obvious that you're trying to change the nature of your debate by qualifying (or quantifying) how you define "nude". No one even hinted at "totally nude", that was all you. Now that even more topless pictures have turned up, these taken when she was 20 (that she also "forgot" about), the only remaining position supporting her is to create strawman arguments...or, just right out lie like she does.

She lied then, she has lied since, and will no doubt lie about it some more, as she seems to have a genuine proclivity to lie whether she needs to or not.

If she did miss scheduled obligations as Miss California and did unsanctioned appearances that promoted her anti-gay-marriage agenda, then she deserves to be stripped of her crown. She had fair warning and made the choice to essentially rip up the contract. Trump is a good businessman, though. He did give her a second chance, she blew it, and it's a good month since all the fervor. This is all but a side-note.

Mike rocks!

Seriously, it seemed pretty obvious from the beginning that she wasn't going to be around long once the hoopla started about her comments that weren't exactly "politically correct". She wasn't setting that good example that is so important in these things.

The truth isn't even an issue, it all about appearances and perception.

This is a link to a series of emails between Carrie and the director of Miss California. It's on Fox, who is obviously a more right leaning source, and this really doesn't put Carrie in a good light. (First email is at the bottom, then read up.)

It sounds to me like they had every reason to fire her. She got a little too big for her britches, making demands like that. The girl also needs to learn a little professional etiquette in correspondence. I don't care if that's via Blackberry or not, you don't use "u" and "ur" in professional emails, and you NEVER speak to your boss like that!

Whoa. She DOES sound like a spoiled brat to me. And she was the darling of the right wing, as people like Hannity were defending her to the hilt.

I NEVER thought that she wasn't chosen Miss USA was because of her views on gay marriage. I always thought it was because of her delivery of her message and not her politics. Even though she is a striking beauty, the way she speaks to Mr. Lewis is certainly not "beautiful." I guess in her case beauty is only skin deep. She got what she deserved. Kuddos to Mr. Lewis for making these email exchanges public.
