This question is based on both my cat's health and her aggression...
My 5 year old is ill, she has lymphoma. She was diagnosed about a year ago and so far she has been doing great. She is over weight, 20lbs so she is large...
My other cat is 3 and she is the size of a kitten, only 5 lbs.
My reason for telling you this is because every so often, its like a switch goes off in Shadow's (5 year old) head and she becomes this aggressive vicious cat and starts attacking Mischief (3 year old). She pins her down and bites her and has Mischief screaming and everything. We always have to break them up and try and keep them apart (well Mischief hides and Shadow tries to find her). Usually Shadow is a very gentle, kind and loving cat with a bit of an attitude but what cat doesn't have one?
So this leads me to my question...Would her health issue be causing her to be acting out in this way? I ask this because she had never starting acting out in this way until she became ill. If it is, is there anything we can do about it?
