I got a motorcycle!

I just picked it up a few days ago and have been having a blast on it!

It's a 250 Ninja, a very small bike, and it's been lowered three inches so I can reach the ground! It's a 98 with 4,600 miles.

Because sneakers have no heels.

And because if you are (God forbid) in a crash, sneakers increase the chances that you'll lose or mangle a foot.

I am SO jealous. I took the class, passed the test, bought a lovely little Kawasaki Vulcan 900, had it chopped so I could reach the ground, put a custom paint job on it, had all the gear to match the paint ... *sigh* ... then had to sell it to cover some unexpected expenses that came up suddenly.

You rock, girl! Come to Virginia and gimme a ride on that little red rice rocket!

Congratulations! I had a 250 a few years back, and never should have sold it.

With very little maintenance, that bike will run forever. Enjoy!!

And be careful!! Drivers are more discourteous by the day.

Thanks! My dad actually bought all my gear for me. I'm working on getting boots and gloves!

Oh man that stinks!!! I'll be in Virgina this fall, but that's an awfully long ride on a bike!

Thanks! I love it and I'll be careful!!! I already found out they don't have patience for a new rider that kills it at a stop sign in a tiny little town Jerks!

Harley Davidson makes some nice motorcycle boots (duh). Except for their girly boots the mens and womens are pretty much the same, so if you can find it in your size the mens boots are just as nice and sometimes $10+ cheaper.

I always liked the tall faded glorys, but could never find the mens or womens in stock in my size.

If you don't mind steel toes that gives you even more boot options.
