HOPE'S Angel

Thread Starter
Angel got a few minutes of outside time today, fresh air and sunshine. She's doing very well considering all that happened. Weight is coming back on and her coat is looking much better. She still needs a bath, but we're holding off for now.
One trauma at a time. She's as sweet as ever. This girl purrs if you look at her and she'll headbutt a bruise on you.

Hope must have treated her well.

Enjoy the pics! ( our kittens on the porch were not impressed! )

Oh, man. All that feline gorgeousness at your place. I want to come down there and visit!!!!

(Used to live in NC -- in Charlotte. Still kinda miss the place, you know?)

She is really beautiful and it is so awesome that you were able to take her in
post #4 of 35
I can see sadness in her eyes, Nial, but I can also see that she is feeling comfortable there with you. She's got such a pretty face.

Thanks for sharing the pictures with us. I was thinking of you today and wondering how she is doing.

ROFL at the kittens on the porch, all lined up in a row. They're just jealous!

LOL! Loved the last pic.

Angel looks wonderful, Nial!

She is beautiful! And if I'm not crazy, she has the silhouette of a cat on her left side in her markings! I can see it in the last 2 pics, it's very similar to her position in the last pic! I hope someone else sees it, so I'm not a crazy cat lady!

That is a beautiful cat you have And I love the last picture!!

Uhm, well, we ARE crazy cat ladies...

But seriously, I see EXACTLY the spot you mean, from face and ears to the feet and tail!

EDIT: OK, ONE ear, anyway - the other ear is blended in, lol.

Well Angel was growling at them and they were all like..."what? this is our stomping grounds, you better not be growling"

Of course Angel being a 4 year old told them all to get in line and shut up, she's the queen.

She's not the flashiest perfect pretty bengal, but she makes up for any of that by being a very sweet loving girl. No one could find a more affection giving cat than this girl. HeadbuttsRus should be her name.

She looks so wonderful. You have a lovely girl there.

Angel is a pretty cat and I like how the other cats are lined up.

Thank you, Nial.

She's a lovely girl, Nial, and I'm so happy that she's with you and settling.

I don't usually go over really short-haired kitties, but she is absolutely STUNNING!! Her coat is so glossy and beautiful!!

I wish I could see the cat silhouette, but I am never good at the 'magic-eye' things so it doesn't surprise me that I can't. LOL

Awww, I am so glad to see her doing well. I don't care if she is flashy or perfect, she seems beautiful to me! But to be honest, I have never seen a full-blooded Bengal that I didn't think was gorgeous (show quality or not)! She seems happy. I'm glad to see it.

She is not the only "angel" in that house....Bless you

Awwww such a pretty girl! I'm glad she's settled in fine, and is as affectionate as ever

Good on her for showing those kittens who's boss as well

Angel is just beautiful, I'm so glad that she has adjusted well to being back with you after all she has been through.
I love the way Bengal cats have a super shiny coat, it gives them a little extra sparkle.
I'm glad she found her way back to you, Nial. You'll take great care of her.
It's nice to see her, and to know that she's now settling in.

Those kittens are hilarious!

How sweet is that!! And look at all those kittens!!!!

Nial she's looking fab!!. I knew she would though once you and Teri got to work on her.

I have to ask though, what was Teri like when she got her back, was she upset?

Thanks to all who have commented so positively about Angel. We will be looking for a new home for her soon. She is very well adjusted, back in top form and ready for her new forever home.

No Susan, Teri was just very happy to see her and to realize that she wasn't too traumatized. Angel came out of her carrier and settled in instantly, as if she'd never left. She recognized us both, gave headbutts and purrs and flipped on her back for bellyrubs. The only thing was, that she was grimey, dirty and dull coated. Her eyes were dull and she was a bit thin. All things to be expected, considering the circumstances, but her spirit was/is unbroken.
She knows she's loved and has bounced back to her bright cheerful, playful self. Her coat has improved dramatically and she's pretty much back in tip top shape.
