Why oh why do they like dark hiding places?

Fiona discovered a hole in a cabinet at my new apartment that leads around the bathtub and to god knows where!

I was calling and calling and she wasn't coming. Then I heard her cry from a room away. All I could think about was I hope she doesn't get stuck and we have to tear down the wall of my apartment. I have only been there 3 months, wouldn't look so good to my landlady.

I was starting to lose my cool when I thought to get out the tub of catnip and shake it. Sure enough she came right out!
Little brat! Her eyes were all squinted either from the bright light or debris. It was funny.

I love my crazy girl!

I'm so glad she found her way out. They are attracted to the most inconvenient places.

When my Ben was just several months old I got lazy and threw the sack of kitty waste out my bath room window, intending to pick it up soon as I went out. Suddenly I could not find Ben anywhere! I searched the house inside and out and even went to the neighbors. NO Ben.

I was heartsick and soon as I was able to get back home I searched again and revisited the neighbors but nobody had seen him.

I went back and flushed my kleenex down the toilet and suddenly I thought I heart a soft meow. I flushed again and THIS time I DID hear it.

I called him and went all around the house but STILL no Ben. Then for some reason I happened to pull the big towel drawer open and there he was!

He had somehow got in there and it closed on him trapping him inside! I was SO HAPPY to see him! HE, on the other hand acted as it it was no big deal!

Another funny thing she did was crawl into the back of a drawer in my kitchen. I tried closing it and it would keep popping open, it felt squishy as I was trying to close it. I open it wide and out she comes crawling from behind the drawer...I had to laugh. I don't know how much space was back there once the drawer was shut but she had to have been smooshed. Good thing she is tiny.
