Prayers and thoughts for my friend's baby

Remember the striped quilt I made for my friend's baby? Her baby is 4 weeks old now and was admitted to our Children's Hospital today with a kidney infection and meningitis. This poor family just can't catch a break. Their two year old had cancer in his first year of life. Now this. They will be in the hospital for at least the next two weeks. If you can, thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. Baby's name is Kate and her parents are Rachel and Jeff. Thanks!

Update - They got labs back today and found out that she has e.coli which caused the kidney infection and the meningitis is a complication from the e.coli. As they were getting ready for church yesterday my friend picked Kate up and she felt warm so she took her temp and it was 103.9...in a 4 week old. They immediately ran to the ER. B/c they found the e.coli they will be in the hospital for the next 21 days at the very least b/c they need to run IV antibiotics for 21 days starting today. Poor baby. I hope everything turns out okay in the end.

Poor little thing. At least they know what caused it, and can treat that specifically. She will continue to be in my prayers!
