Monsanto genetically controlling our food

This a very interesting film if you have time to watch, the documentary is 1 hr 48 min. Monsanto is a agricultural giant who is responsible for Agent orange during the vietnam era. They are now into genetically changing our food. It starts about about the product called Roundup the herbicide for killing weeds they produce. This is an eye opener because Monsanto is in my rural area and we have a high cancer rate here. They introduced the bovine growth hormone for cows to produce more milk. They genectically change seeds to produce more crops. This is a very good film and an eye opener too. It will make you think about what your eating and if it's safe.

I have been saying it for years, it is in the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe. There is no getting away from it.

And they say they don't know what causes cancer, bullpucky, they know.

I can't watch that stuff, it makes my blood start to boil.

What causes cancer has never been a mystery..All these things we call carcinogens don't always "cause" cancer they just contribute to it happening sooner rather than later..
But yea I think there are so many toxins and carcinogens out there that GM is the least of my concerns. And unless I see scientific proof of how it causes all those things, what actual process takes place on the cellular level I would not buy into the fact that genetic engineering causes cancer because I just haven't seen any hypothesis about how GM foods can be unhealthy.

EDIT: I just saw you mentioned cows and growth hormones-I hate what they do to cows. It's sick and horrifying.
But if you really think about it, people have been genetically modifying crops ever since the beginning of agriculture.

You are completely right about that. For some reason people think pesticides, use of hormones, and genetic modification are the same...
