Question of the Day April 19th

Morning All!!

Well to contine on with the food theme today's question is:

What is your favorite food to prepare?

I am a soup person, I love to make it and love to eat it. I have tons of recipes that I have gotten from differnt sources, as well as several that are my own creations.

Favorite food to prepare....hmmmm.

I like stews and soups, they are fun to prepare. Never taste the same twice.

Pastas are fun too...experimenting with the sauce.

Nachos are a fun food too.

I guess I don't really have a favorite food to prepare. I like preparing food for an "occasion." I like to plan the menu (food and wine), cook some tried and true favorites, add a new recipe and do a dessert. I like to decorate cakes. I love to experiment with raspberries in desserts, because I freeze so many.

I like cooking curries and mousse is fun to make too!

Spinach dip.

I hate cooking, if I can pop it in the microwave and nuke for a few minutes, then it's a favorite to prepare.

I can cook quite well, just not on my list of things I like doing, ranks right up there with cleaning toilets

I too like making soups/chowders and stews.

Also different casserole/hot dishes with hamburger and bulk Italian sausage.

I'm really not into cooking so I like the easy simple things to cook. A steak, potato and veggies for dinner would be the easiest for me. The quicker I get out of the kitchen, the better :-)

I love to make soups and casseroles. My favorite thing is baking. I make an excellent lemon meriange pie.

Anything in the crockpot!

Shrimp on coconut sauce... Recipe from Brasil - my American friends love it!!!

Spaghetti sauce! It takes a long time to prepare, but DH loves it, and that's all that matters. Actually, he says it is my best dinner...better than my MIL's spaghetti (hehe )

I like making bread. It's so good to cut into a freshly baked loaf of bread and I always feel proud of making it myself!

I guess for me it has to be my great chili in the crock pot. Love it.
