Sorry I should have re-stated it in my post, I'm home on bedrest for another week because of a large very painful ovarian cyst. So any suggestions for things that don't require movment would be awsome!

I'm so sorry! For thew lack of better words, that sucks
! I'm a busy body, but I definitely enjoy laying back and enjoying a good movie, or reading a good book. Hope you feel better soon!

Netflix instant viewing!

Read a book that will take you all week. My suggestions: Gone With the Wind or The Thorn Birds!!

Are you able to sit up? If you can sit up or prop up you could do some painting (I find paint by numbers really pass the time because of how much you concentrate), play cards (solitaire if you don't have someone to play with), coloring books (I know it sounds childish but I find it relaxing).....

As others have suggested: reading, crafts (cross stiching, crochet, knit, etc), doing up paperwork if you have any, internet research/play/movies/etc., writing (if you like to write), ohhhh here's one I would do : Organise my recipes
I have so many magazines with one or two recipes that I need to cut out and put in my recipe book
that cupboard is a mess but some could bring the contents to my bed and I could organise the recipes/plan some meals, etc.

Of course, TSC.....hmmmmm, too bad we didn't have a chatroom.

OHH, I forgot about that! Last time I was laid up for a few weeks (complications from surgery), reading and watching movies got boring after awhile. I had a huge incision from a hysterctomy and could prop up enough to work a coloring book and color by number set. It DOES sound childish but you'd be suprised how relaxing it is! It keeps your mind off your tummy

You're right, don't do anything that's frustrating. It's your time to just relax and take it easy!
