I was sitting at the computer yesterday afternoon when I heard this strange scratching noise. I thought "what is that cat up to now?" and went to investigate. Sure enough, there was Wiggies jumping around by the front door, excited by something. So I go and have a look, and he's chasing a fern frond stuck under the door. I quietly unlocked the door and quickly opened it, giving my neighbour a heart attack!
She didn't know I was home and thought she'd play with Wiggies. Too funny! It's nice to know that he's being entertained when we're not home!

We are so lucky to have her across the hall. She comes and looks after the boys when we go away.

I mean the long stem from a fern plant. Is frond the wrong word? Now I have to go look that up...

No it's the right word. It's a good makeshift feather like toy provided the cats don't eat it! Don't know if ferns are ok for them.
