I love Cameo Maine Coons - they look like they had butterscotch topping poured over the coat
Yeah they are pretty aren't they - I had one to judge on Saturday.

Those Burmillas are such sweet looking cats! And I want to bury my face in the ragdolls.
Thanks Wendy! I think Tales will too. She was such a ham in the cage and played with everyone. She's still really zonked!
The burmillas are lovely and [dare I say it] because they have Persian in their lines they are so friendly!

Thank you! That photo of Jack cracks me up!

I show again May 9th and will bench with a Aby and a La Perm Breeder.
I met them at the last show.
I can't wait to hear from you. I'll be at a show May 10th, I'm not judging so I'll get heaps more time to take pics - I only had 2 hours at the show to myself on Saturday. I've only ever seen 1 La Perm in person.

Cool! We have heaps of SH only shows here in NZ - I'm not going up to Hamilton this year. I like the South Island shows but I'll be going their next year. Do you know a breeder of Classicats? I only know Jodi Robinson Widley very well. Do you know her?

However, Miss Sam, where is my Sonic????????
I will PM you!

The black kitty is actually related to my babies! He did really well at the show. Thanks!

Yup there was a neuter there but I didn't see him, just his owner
I think only 1 gets shown on my island.

Awesome pictures!! You know, my Mrs. M looks a lot like that burmilla. I'm sure it's just a coincidence, even if she did have burmilla in her it was probably generations ago.

Mews, who is the LaPerm breeder (PM me if you'd like.) I'm curious, because a good friend of mine also breeds LaPerms

Thanks! Yup Burmillas were just originally a persian/burmese cross - quite common
It's fun to guess the linage behind them though isn't it!

None that I know of but no doubt there are some - I think only one mating is allowed to the Persian to "kick start" the programme then lots of Burmese must be used - don't quote me though!

Thanks for all the photos. Like previous posters, I'm really taken with the Burmillas - I am not familiar with the breed at all, but thanks for the education!

We have LH Burmilla's, they are accepted by CCCofA but not GCCF (ACF) I *think* they still have experimental status.

I was in such a hurry to post, I forgot to say that the Captivating cats are lovely as well...all the praise shouldn't go the Burmillas, cute as they may be!

LOL No problem!!!
I'm just packing for the next cat show - leaving in 40 hours, away for 4 days and about 9-10 hours away from home. I'll post how my judging/cats go in this thread when I return although I'm not expecting much for the cats, because it's a big show!!
