July 17, 2000 / April 15, 2009

When I first adopted my sweet babies, Sadie and Dexter, I made the promise to them that, if they became seriously ill, with little hope of recovery , I would not prolong their suffering.
From a place of deep love, after a long, difficult illness, I kept that promise to my precious daughter, Sadie.
She crossed the Bridge peacefully, in my arms, at her doctors office yesterday morning.

I do not have the words to express how broken I feel.
Were did the time go?

Her brother Dexter and I will do the best we can with out her,
but our lives have been forever changed by her loss.
We will always love you darling Sadie.

I didn't know she was ill? What took her life?

Lei and Dexter Holding both of you very close right now at this terrible sad time.

You made sure Sadie didn't suffer by letting her go free, but she'll always live on in your heart because i know you won't ever forget her

Sadie, keep looking down on your mum and brother Dexter, because their hurting so much right now, but you have a wonderful time at the bridge with all of your mums cats before you, not to mention all the TCS cats and kittens who have crossed

What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful girl.

Mew has met Sadie on the other side of the Bridge and they are exchanging stories about what a good Mom you are. He's showing Sadie the best sun spots and where the best toys are.

I am sorry for your loss, you must be heartbroken. You had her best interests at heart and they say that if you love someone you let them go, however hard that may be. She is no longer in pain and her soul is free, you and Dexter are in my prayers. xx

Lei, if only we could begin to express the pain in our hearts. Sadie, our precious Sadie. I just wish this was a bad dream, someone wake us up. I just can't imagine what you must be going through right now, my friend. Your Daughter, your sweet love. Sadie and Mew are together now watching over you and Dexter until the beautiful day you are all reunited. We love you, and we love our Angel Sadie.
