Well I am starting a new job tomorrow and I am really excited
about it. It's three days a week at a local store called Blast from the Past. It is a antique/novelty store and I think it is going to be a really fun place to work.

I have enjoyed having the last six months off, I certainly needed the rest and I feel 100% better then I did when I finished work last October.

I think the store will be a really cool place to work because I am really interested in antiques and they have some very nice ones. And it is so totally different then what I am use to doing it's going to be yet another adventure.

Anyway a few vibes for good luck would be appreciated.

Right on!
It will feel good to be back at work again, I'm sure. I hope your health stays good -three days a week shouldn't be too bad though.

Best of luck on your new adventure! Sounds like an interesting place to work. I would have a real problem not spending my whole paycheck there!

That sounds fun. I did some fill-in work at an antique/vintage clothing store once.

Just be careful as I found that my paycheck tended to dissappear into buying stuff from the shop...

So my first day went really well. I spent most of the day just checking out some of the larger antique items and getting to know a little bit about their history. My boss is very nice. a little on the chatty side but it save me from having to talk a lot.
I guess I am going to have to heed the warnings I have been getting about not spending all my money at work, they have this really nice side board from 1870 that I would love to have it's gorgeous and one of my favorites so far.
I also like the art deco costume jewelery from the 40's as well...

Yep I think I am going to be very happy working there...

Im glad your enjoying it there. I hope you continue to do so.
I would have a hard time not spending on antiques, too.
