Hey! i have new questions
why on earth does my cat <Ash> have a fav sucking blanket and likes to eat paper? She will sleep on our bed with her blanket between us,lay down and give er for at least 2 hours...all the while purring and kneading like crazy lol. It is too my great misfortune that i roll over and get a face full of slobber in the middle of the night
As for the paper eating its always awsome comming home to find your latest bill shredded on the floor
no need for a paper shredder i guess lol. Any ideas why she would do this sort of thing?

I am by no means an expert..but I have heard that when they leave their moms too early this behaviour is a result of that. They are trying to mirror the suckling action.

No idea if that is true though.

There are several theories on why some cats like to suck on fabric. You might want to read the following article.

Anna, my Bengal, likes to shred paper into little pieces. As far as I can tell she doesn't eat the pieces. It may be a game to her, since she will chase the little pieces around the floor or drop them in her water dish. The best thing to do is you live with a feline paper shredder is keep important papers out of reach in a drawer.
