Oh my goodness! He sounds AWESOME! My fiance is scared of big dogs. We were looking at puppies once somewhere and this great dane walked in (on a leash with his owner) I look beside me, Jon is GONE, across the store in like, five seconds.

Silly question - are Dobies typically water lovers? Never met another dog that'll quite happily have a hose pointed in their face than a few Labs. My Coco adores a hosed down face - man - she's a Lab & it's water!

Thanks everyone. He is 5 years old and a really great dog.

Some Dobers like water, others don't. This Doberman LOVES it, as you can tell. My other Doberman doesn't swim as much as him, but will and isn't a hose monster. But will willingly go into any body of water for fun and to cool down.
