Morning All!!!!!

Today as a follow-up to yesterdays favorite fruit question today's question is:

What is your favorite vegetable?

My first thought was potato's but since potato's are such a stable in most households I guess they really can't count so I would have to say my favorite would be broccoli and zucchini because I like them both about the same. With boc choy coming in a close second.

I would say broccoli and green beans.

Fresh, locally grown field lettuce. It just tastes so much better when it isn't trucked 2,000 miles.

It's a really tough choice between fresh asparagus and fresh sweet corn on the cob. I usually consume great quantities of each, when they are in season, and remember them fondly when they aren't. I also like garden fresh green beans, carrots, romaine and butter lettuce. I will freely admit that I am pretty picky about my veggies. Many of them don't like me right back!

Asparagus, definitely.

My grandfather, in Michigan, had a small field of asparagus. I remember cutting it fresh. Man, what flavor. But is asparagus truly a vegetable?

Just for a treat, a second choice would be artichokes (whole, not the hearts).

Hmmm... Good question. I think asparagus is a grass.... And we are coming into that season here soon. Fresh asparagus, ramps and morels. Yum!

Oh my gosh I forgot all about Morels, my father use to pick them when I was a kid and they were so good, panfried with butter and garlic...

I think my brother still picks them in the spring but they don't seem to be as plentiful as they use to be.

baby carrots dipped in ranch, cucumbers dipped in ranch, i love celery with peanut butter (crunchy) pimento spread or cream cheese. I love corn but really only like it on the cob.
I like tomatos too and potatos different ways.
