Better than regular SD but not worth the hype IMHO

You won't find many of us here with a high opinion of Science Diet other than for a specific prescription.

The first listed ingredient is chicken, which is good but misleading because pet food ingredients are listed on the label in order by weight...so chicken includes moisture and will be heavier than a dry ingredient, like corn, and will be earlier on the list even though the corn makes up more of the ingredients in actuality. (I hope that makes sense, not sure if I explained that very well).

So, the 'real' first three ingredients are barley, corn, and rice....not meat.

It seems very overpriced and the ingredients are not impressive.

Are you looking for a good food for your cat or are just curious about this particular food? This forum has loads of information about which foods, dry and wet, are better than others.

I am looking for a good dry food for my kitten. What about Nutro Complete Care Indoor Kitten?

Thanks ... I'll go with the regular Nutro Complete Care Kitten. What is a good complimentary canned food?
