...and what do you say to the butcher?
I've been a vegetarian for most of my life so I've never really ordered meat from the butcher at the grocery store...
For those of you who feed raw and don't grind, where do you usually purchase your meat & what do you ask for?
i'm wondering esp. for RMBs and organ meats...I'm shy!

I buy it the same places I buy my own meat--but have also looked for other sources. I have gotten a lot of free venison on craigslist, I also found a butcher who sells chicken hearts by the pound. I have a great local grocer that carries any organ I could dream of. I really just watch the sales add every week. I haven't bought in a couple weeks, I had quite a bit in the freezer and was trying to use what I had. But I am watching for good turkey prices right now--whole turkey's are on sale for the easter holiday, but I'm not sure if I want to deal with that just yet.
