My friend Eric's younger brother (25 going on 14) received a money order in the mail for $1,500 from a job service he applied to. We all thought it was a scam. no way was it real! Yesterday he went to cash it during a break at work (not sure if it was his bank or check cashing location) and it was real! He actually had 1,500 in cash for doing absolutely nothing! What does he do???!!!!
Can you believe it?! He lost it
!!!!!! The idiot cashed it and then went back to work, neighborhood survey and sales, with the money on him and lost it!

He lost his dough because he didn't use his loaf. Haha! Get it?! Har, har! Yuck, yuck!

There are so many scams like that out there, that was a one in a million chance ending up with one that wasn't! And then to lose it.. wow. Maybe someone who really needs it will find it.. or not. It'd be a nice outcome though.

I sent my dry cleaning with $5000 in fresh 100 dollar bills bound with a 5k tape and all.

was hiding the money from the girlfriend and forgot.

Can't even begin to tell you the panic, and instant sweating that occured when I realized what I'd done. So I can TOTALLY relate to this kid. big time.

Only huge difference is that you probably earned that money, he literally received a money order through the mail that we all thought was fake!!!!! And he did absolutely nothing as far as earning it! Then to all of our surprise, he was able to cash it, then loose it within hours!!!!!! He obviously didn't deserve it, didn't earn it was irresponsible and lost it. My big question is whats next....I'm sure in some way it is going to come back to him, he cashed it with his ID, it's on record, will he have to work $1,500 off for free, or have to replace the funds????

Yep, he's going to lose it twice. If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. He will have to pay the piper!
