kitty hugs

Just thought I'd share this one. My cat Autumn likes to hug me. She'll be sleeping on my lap and slowly work her way up to where her arms(legs?) are around my neck and her head is snuggled under my chin. Soooooooo cute! I never had any other cat do this anyone else?

My cats don't do this but I am seriously melting in my chair right now. Sooo cute.

Bast does! Anytime I pick her up, she puts her paws on either side of my neck and holds onto me that way, (she has STRONG paws!)...then puts her face in mine and either kisses or bumps me, lol. I call it 'hugging.'

One of our clinic cats at work does that. I love my Jack hugs, .He especially likes to give hugs to try to convince me to not put him in his townhouse at night, .

Awwww, Autumn sure does love you!

Billy has done it ever since he was a baby. Pumpkin's only been here since December, but he's started doing it every once-and-awhile too. I think it's really special.

One of my first cat sitting "customers" was a three year old male Abyssinian named Mercury. From the first day I met him, he would wrap his front legs around my neck and rub his face against mine. It took all my willpower not to take him home with me!

I don't know how you resisted either! My aby is very affectionate but isn't much of a hugger. When she was younger she would sleep on her side next to me with one arm around my stomach/chest, but lately she prefers a bit more space when she sleeps. When she is lovey, she just rubs her little head all over mine, but doesn't grasp with her paws in a hugging motion.

My kitten will nuzzle his head in my neck...it's the best feeling. He'll also smush his lips against mine, like a 'lipbutt'.

We have two cats at the animal hospital where i work and I'll rub heads withthem. I'll just put my forehead to theirs and rub back and forth. sometimes, they'll sit on the desk in front of me and put their heads down. It's really cute.

This is sooo adorable! Bodhi doesn't actually wrap his paws around my neck, but when I pick him, he puts both front paws straight out and puts them on both sides of my neck. It's so sweet! With Siddha, he prefers I cradle him like a baby or hold him so that both front paws are hanging over one shoulder.

My Missy used to do that and it seemed it usually occured when I was feeling down, especially about her as her health declined. I would be thinking about her and there she would be.

That is one of the cutest things I have ever heard!

No huggers at our house but I do get little kisses on my face. I'm going to try to make mine do this tonight. I'm sure they'll have no interest

Carly will put her paws on my shoulder and just lean in putting her forehead under my jaw. She makes me feel so loved when she does that.
